First, let me ask you a question… Do you BELIEVE you can heal from your bloating, fatigue and whatnot, and get the life that you want?
If the answer is not a resounding YES, this is a must read.
I watched a motivational talk for entrepreneurs this week, and since then, I’ve been walking around the house thinking: I’m f**king unstoppable! (Just for the record, I don’t usually swear…)
To tell you the truth, I’ve never really been into personal growth stuff… I always found it a bit woo woo (I have a scientific background… I like facts and research).
But having your own business can trigger some serious pain points — and I know firsthand that trying to fix your gut can do that too — and it can be hard to push through without a tad of personal growth…
So I thought, what bad can come from going around thinking that I’m so awesome that I can achieve whatever I want.
Apart from being very uplifting, it did actually inspire me to take action. So instead of sitting around thinking that I really should be writing my blog… I’m actually doing it for a change 😉
I also have noticed a positive shift in my life … like meeting the right people at the right time. Who doesn’t like that!
I suspect that you are starting to wonder… what does that have to do with you?
If you are reading my blog, I’m guessing that you have a strong desire to get rid of your bloating, fatigue and other annoying symptoms which are making your life miserable.
What I want to tell you today is that the very first thing that will help you get there is to BELIEVE you can heal.
You must first BELIEVE you can heal before it happens.
Here are just a few things you will have heard off that relates to the power of belief:
The Placebo effect: in almost every research studies, people receiving the ‘fake’ pill still receive some benefits… simply from the belief that they are taking a drug which should be helping them feel better.
Visualisation: Used by most high-level athletes, one of the power of visualisation is that by seeing yourself doing the movement/race to perfection so often (in your head), you develop a strong inner belief that it will actually happen this way, increasing your chance of success.
We still know very little about the brain/the mind, but one thing we know for sure is that it is extremely powerful.
The sad truth is that every day, I see people who have lost the belief that they can heal and feel better.
People who are ready to give up.
Or worst, people who don’t even want to try because they don’t believe it’s going to work. They have been told by their doctors that there is nothing to do about their daily bloating and other digestive problems…. Every tests came back normal, so there is either nothing wrong with you, or nothing that will help.
I have been told that so often before I finally decided to take charge of my own health… and every time I wanted to cry… and give up ;-(
What happens when you don’t believe (and have no support from people who do):
1- You give up easily. After all, this new diet is not going to work…so why bother.
2- You lose your motivation. You’re not seeing results, so it’s not worth the effort.
3- You are more likely to experience anxiety when things are not working — and we all know what that does to your digestion!
The reality is that it’s really hard to do this alone. I can assure you that you are not the only person struggling…it’s tough!

1- Sit or lay down in a comfortable position.
2- Visualise your life the way you want it to be:
- How does it feel to wake up feeling energised?
- How does it feel to be able to eat without pain and bloating?
- See yourself eating out, without fear, just really enjoying the experience.
- Whatever you want, start seeing it, feel how it feels.
- Don’t hesitate to even see yourself on the toilet, having a perfect bowel movement. Best feeling ever, right?
