For some time now, I’ve been quietly developing something alongside my clinical practice — a skincare line grounded in the same philosophy I bring to health.

For years, I focused deeply on internal health — nutrition, gut integrity, hormonal balance, nervous system regulation. Like many in this community, I prioritised what was happening inside. Skincare often felt like another task, and I struggled to find products that felt truly aligned with my values — clean, intelligent, and genuinely enjoyable to use.

But as I moved into my 40s, I began to notice my skin needed more attention. The foundational health work was helping — yet my skin felt drier, less resilient, more reactive. I realised I wasn’t alone.

Many women committed to their wellbeing feel quietly overwhelmed by skincare. They don’t want ten steps or aggressive actives — but the skin still needs thoughtful care.

Like the gut, the skin is a barrier with its own microbiome, closely linked to the immune system. And under stress and hormonal shifts, it becomes more vulnerable.

Internal health is foundational.
But the skin also benefits from consistent, supportive care on the outside.

A note on skin sensitivity

SAMA is formulated to support barrier integrity and microbiome balance, and many people experiencing dryness or mild reactivity do very well with it.

That said, it is not positioned as a “zero-actives” or ultra-sensitive clinical range. The formulations include a small amount of essential oil for aromatic and functional benefit, which may not suit those with highly reactive, sensitised or medically diagnosed skin conditions.
